Privacy notice for users of this portal
For the staff of Donsotank who sign in to this portal. Written under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173). Back to sign in
Who we are
LT Marine, a Philippine manning agency in Manila, operates this portal for Donsotank and is the personal information controller for the data described here. The seafarers you see in the portal are covered by LT Marine's own notice to them.
What we keep about you
- Your name, e-mail address and company, the role LT Marine gave your login, your password (stored only as a one-way hash) and, when two-step sign-in is used, the secret of your authenticator app.
- Each sign-in: when, whether it succeeded, and the internet address it came from; the last one is also kept on your login.
- A line for every page you open, every document you download, every export and every decision you record on a proposal, with the time and the internet address.
Why
To give you access to the seafarers proposed to Donsotank and to those who serve or have served on its vessels, and to account for every view of their personal data: LT Marine must be able to say who saw a seafarer's details and when (RA 10173, Sections 20 and 21). We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.
Who receives it
LT Marine's office staff who manage your company's access. Microsoft, whose Azure cloud holds the system. This portal loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser sends its internet address to Google when it opens a page here.
How long we keep it
Your login stays on file while you have access and after LT Marine switches it off. No period has yet been set for removing it, or for the sign-in and activity lines; until LT Marine sets one, they are kept.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to object to or have it removed where it is no longer needed; ask your LT Marine contact, who will pass it to LT Marine's Data Protection Officer. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (www.privacy.gov.ph).
